
Actions in Support of the People’s War in India

Several actions supporting the Communist Party of India (Maoist) [CPI (Maoist)], the People’s War in India and to honor its martyred General Secretary, Comrade Basavaraj, have taken place in several European countries.
An event to support the People’s War in India took place in Aalborg, Denmark. Before the event several posters were put up in Aalborg city center, mobilizing for the event. Also an information stand was set and leaflets were spread in the proletarian neighborhood of Frederikstorv:


During the event a presentation was held, introducing the current situation in India, including the ongoing genocidal “Operation Kagaar”. Afterwards a film screening of the documentary “India’s Red Tide” was carried out and a discussion was held. The event ended with slogans such as: “Honor and glory to Comrade Basavaraj!”, “Long live the CPI (Maoist)!” and “Long live the People’s War in India!”.




A graffito was done on the old Indian State’s embassy in Stockholm, Sweden. Additionally Kommunisten has published a statement to support the People’s War in India, the CPI (Maoist) and to honor Comrade Basavaraj:

Leaflets in support to the People’s Wars in India, Philippines, Peru and Turkey were distributed in several cities of Italy during the strike for Palestine on September 22:
