France: Successful Anti-Imperialist Festival in Beaubreuil, Limoges

We hereby share an unofficial translation of a recent report from La Cause du Peuple.

On Sunday, September 21, an anti-imperialist festival was held in Beaubreuil, north of Limoges, bringing together 70 people throughout the afternoon. Braving the rain and bad weather, children, teenagers, and parents gathered in this people’s neighborhood around various stands organized by residents and associations.

Between a ball-toss with Macron, Retailleau, and Netanyahu heads, balloons, drawings, bracelets, and face paint in the colors of Palestine, the tone was set. Children even had the opportunity to try their hand at graffiti, attempting with varying degrees of success to paint a Palestinian flag!

Thanks to a break in the clouds, the planned soccer tournament was able to take place in the late afternoon, and the winners left with their medals. Everyone enjoyed cake and drinks while chatting.

Before leaving, residents shared fruit, vegetables, and bread donated by local producers who had generously given their unsold goods to support this anti-imperialist event. During the group photo, slogans were chanted in support of Palestine. The event bodes well for the upcoming creation of a neighborhood committee.
