Protest Meeting in India Against the Murder of Maoist Leaders and Activists

We hereby share an unofficial translation of a report of an event that took place in India.

A protest meeting was organized by the Committee for the Release of the Political Prisoners (West Bengal) in front of Jadavpur Coffee House on November 22, 2025, against the killing of Maoist political leaders and activists including Comrade Hidma in fake encounters, against the conspiracy to hand over the vast mineral-rich areas of Central India to the Adani-Ambani corporations and other domestic and foreign corporations by carrying out genocide against the tribals in the name of ‘Operation Kagar’, demanding a judicial investigation into the murder of every Maoist political activist including Comrade Hidma, and the immediate and unconditional release of every political prisoner. Several democratic, progressive mass organizations and individuals including APDR, Revolutionary Students Front (RSF) and FIR spoke at the meeting.
