Worldwide Mobilizations and Actions Express Solidarity with Venezuela

Thousands take to the streets every day against the imperialist aggression carried out by Yankee imperialism on Venezuela. Since our previous report, many more mobilizations and actions have been carried out. We hereby share a compilation of some of them.
Among them, the Coordinating Committee of the Anti-Imperialist League (AIL) has issued a call for a campaign against the US imperialist aggression in Venezuela. We shared the call:
Many mobilizations have taken place across Brazil. In Rio de Janeiro a mobilization was carried out a mobilization from downtown to the General Consulate of the United States. Slogans such as “Yankees Go Home!” and “¡Latin America is our land, Yankees out of Venezuela!” were chanted. Yankee and Zionist flags were burned.


Hundreds of protesters gathered in Belém, denounced the imperialist aggression and expressed solidarity with Venezuela.

People’s, student and other movements, as well as unions carried out a unified demonstration in Maringá where the war-crimes carried out by Yankee imperialism were denounced. The question of the struggle for land in the country led by the League of the Poor Peasants (LCP) and its relation with the struggle against imperialism was raised. Yankee and Zionist flags were burned.


250 people attended a demonstration in Brasilia which gathered many different organizations, and among them a banner of the AIL was seen.

Hundreds gathered in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, to express solidarity with the Venezuelan people. Among the organizations were the LCP and the Revolutionary People’s Student Movement (MEPR). Slogans such as “Yankees go home!” and “Israel out of Palestinian land, Trump out of Latin America!”, were chanted.


A rally was held in front of the Yankee consulate in Porto Alegre. AND reports that the Military Police defended Yankee imperialism by attacking the protesters and detaining two of them.

The US imperialist attack on Venezuela was protested in the Sarıgazi neighborhood of Istanbul, Turkey. Additionally, the massacres and attacks by HTS forces against Alawites in Syria were protested, and a call was made to fight against imperialism.

The Democratic Student Alliance held several mobilizations in Bangladesh against the US military aggression on Venezuela.


A protest rally was held in Lagankhel, Lalitpur, Nepal, against the US intervention in Venezuela. The US intentions to plunder the country were condemned.


Several mobilizations take place every day in Germany. Dem Volke Dienen makes daily updates on the mobilizations called for Venezuela:
Around 200 people participated in a protest held in Darmstadt on January 5th to condemn the US imperialist attack on Venezuela. Partizan was among the participants.


Mobilizations were carried out also in Hamburg and Bremen. In the former the protest took place in front of the US consulate. The Red League also participated in a spontaneous demonstration on January 3rd by various anti-imperialist groups. In Bremen a rally was organized by various groups. The Red League participated with several comrades and friends, and in their speech, they emphasized the strengthening of the anti-imperialist front, a point welcomed by some of the rally participants. The police attempted to intimidate the protest.




One day after the intensification of Yankee imperialism’s aggression against Venezuela through bombings and the abduction of the president, the Red League participated in the demonstration in Düsseldorf, and gave a speech.


Also several graffiti have been made in Cologne, and in Essen and Bochum:
