Colombia: Powerful National Anti-imperialist Mobilization
We hereby share an unofficial translation of a report by Nueva Democracia, from Colombia.
Following the mobilizations against Yankee imperialism that were unleashed after the US aggression against Venezuela on January 3, and the imperialist threats against other countries, including Colombia, on January 15, more mobilizations were held in the country.
Although participation in this mobilization was lower compared to the previous ones, the spirit of struggle is high, and so is the combativeness against the crimes of Yankee imperialism.

During the mobilizations in several cities, activists from the Coordinator of People’s Struggles [Coordinadora de Luchas Populares (CLP)] made a broad call to struggle for a National Meeting Against Yankee Aggression in Latin America. The call was made through speeches, posters, and leaflets.

The National Meeting is expected to be held in February, and its goal is to advance in the forging of unity among all democratic, popular, and anti-imperialist forces daring to struggle against the different forms of Yankee aggression against the oppressed peoples of Latin America. We have previously informed readers about this proposal in a recent article. Once again, we share the call by the CLP, which urges to work towards the realization of the National Meeting.
