Netherlands: Film Evening – Revolution, State Terror, and the Adivasis in India

We hereby share an unofficial translation of a report on a film screening published by Rebel of the Netherlands on the 27th of January.

On January 24, the Communist Committee of the Netherlands organized a film evening in Moira about the struggle of the Adivasis in India.

We saw how the Adivasi communities are fighting for their land, their lives, and their rights, and how communists are fighting side by side with the Adivasis against state violence and the exploitation of their land.

After the screening, there was a lively discussion about international solidarity, the systematic oppression of indigenous peoples, and the broader struggle against imperialism worldwide.

Various materials and statements from the International Communist League and the Communist Party of India (Maoist) were also distributed.

This evening showed us that the struggle of the Adivasis is not only their struggle, but a joint struggle of peoples and revolutionaries for justice and freedom.

There will be more film evenings soon!
