The repressive case against Booker Omole has begun to collapse. This past week, several reports have revealed that the case has been fabricated without evidence. The illegal possession of a firearm, the main charge brought against Omole by the police, has been thrown out, as the Registrar of the Firearms Bureau of Kenya confirmed that Booker Omole is in fact a lawful firearm holder.
Moreover, the main witness against Booker Omole, denounced that he was threatened by the Officer Commanding Police Station (OCS) of Mlolongo. The OCS threatened him with a search warrant, and he warned that he would arrest him and have his business destroyed if he refused to cooperate with police. The OCS also invented that Omole was linked with drug-trafficking, cyber-crime, dealing of small arms and other crimes.
The magistrate has now asked the OCS to appear in court on April 7.
