Growing Israeli Casualties as Resistance Forces Continue Defensive Operations

As Israel further sinks their feet in their war of aggression on Lebanon, they are increasingly unable to fulfill their wargoals. The so-called “yellow line” established by Israel in southern Lebanon as “occupied”, is facing constant attacks by the Lebanese resistance, with Israel facing increasing casualties and destruction of military material in their criminal attempts at occupying the land of the Lebanese people despite the ongoing ceasefire.
On May 30th, the Israeli Ministry of Health announced five casualties, bringing the total number of injuries recorded since the outbreak of the Yankee imperialist war of aggression on Iran and Lebanon along with its lackey, Israel, to 8,909. Out of these, 1,008 have been on the front with the Lebanese resistance. Separate official figures showed that since the ceasefire, 593 Israeli casualties have been recorded on the Lebanese front.
From the 25th to the 26th of May, Hezbollah announced a series of military operations targeting the Israeli occupation, striking multiple targets, including soldiers and military vehicles. In Jal al-Hammar, Adaysah, Dibil, as well as in Al-Qouzah, Rashaf and the newly established Balat military site, Israeli soldiers, three Merkava tanks, and a missile launching site were targeted by rockets, drones and artillery fire.
These actions were reportedly characterized as a “strategic threat” according to Israeli newspapers.
During the celebrations Eid al-Adha (27th and 28th of May), the Israeli occupation escalated their airstrikes across southern Lebanon, including Deir Aames in the Tyre district, Shoukin, Mayfadoun, Yahmar al-Shaqif, Kfartebnit, Haniyeh, Srifa, Barish, Tora, Zawtar al-Gharbiya and Deir Qanoun al-Nahr, and Sahmar in the western Bekaa. The strikes murdered, according to Lebanon’s Health Ministry, 31 people and wounded an additional 40.
Israel reported that at least one soldier was eliminated in a detonation of explosive devises inside a military zone in the settlement of Shomera, seven others were wounded.
Hezbollah released footage showing close-combat clashes and explosive ambushes in a defensive operation against Israels fourth attempt at an advance towards the town of Hadatha.
According to Hezbollah’s military media, four Israeli military bulldozers and an armored personnel carrier were destroyed during the confrontations, describing the operation as a “new defeat for the enemy at the gates of Hadatha.”
On the 29th of May, Hezbollah released footage of another attack targeting a Merkava tank in the town of Yohmor al-Shaqif.
Hezbollah announced on May 30th that it had launched a rocket barrage targeting Israeli military infrastructure in the city of Safad,
Earlier in the day, the settlement of Kiryat Shmona was also targeted by rocket barrages, as well as a strike on the Meron base, a key Israeli military facility used for aerial surveillance and operational command in northern Israel.
