Hundreds protested in Nanyuki on Monday as demonstrations against a proposed Ebola quarantine and isolation facility at Laikipia Airbase, proposed by Yankee imperialism to treat only US nationals coming from the Democratic Republic of Congo. The decision triggered the justified rebellion of the masses against the subjugation of the country. At least two protesters were murdered by the Kenyan repressive forces.

The clashes erupted when demonstrators regrouped from an earlier march toward Laikipia Airbase, where they had initially sought to access the military installation but were blocked by heavily armed Kenya Air Force personnel. The Kenyan troops made clear the lackey character of the Kenyan State, protecting the US assets and its interests.

Kenya’s President William Ruto unmasked himself as a lackey of the sole hegemonic superpower, when he stated: “When President Trump asked the government of Kenya to support them by having a center at Laikipia Air Base, I gave the OK because it was an agreement and a partnership with friends who have worked with Kenya for 30-40 years”.

Protesters attempted to push through police barricades in the town center, prompting anti-riot police officers to respond with waves of tear gas canisters and warning shots fired into the air.
