We hereby share a call from Revolutionary Student’s Front, published on their Facebook account on October 12, in which they call for strong militant mass resistance along the lines of the struggle of the people of the village of Mothabari, nearby Sujapur in West Bengal. They also call for the resignation of Gyanesh Kumar, India’s chief Election Commissioner, over the voter list revision by the name of Special Intensive Revision (SIR). The SIR effectively removes legible voters, and some reports say that 130 million names have been removed from draft rolls, effectively negating their citizenship.
RSF is calling for the construction of a state- and country wide movement against the SIR, a boycott of the rigged elections, and is calling for solidarity with the masses struggling in Delhi and in other parts of the country, and denounce the repression unleashed on them.
