Actions by Partizan in Istanbul and Gaziantep, for the Revolutionary Prisoners

We hereby share an unofficial translation of a report published by Yeni Demokrasi on several actions for the revolutionary prisoners.

Partizan exposed the attacks on prisoners with banners it hung in Istanbul and Gaziantep.

Partizan readers, who hung banners in Gaziantep reading “Close the Well-Type Prisons,” stated that the well-type prisons were an attempt to force the revolutionary will to surrender, and that this will could not be destroyed neither by the well-type prisons, nor by the F-type prisons.

In Istanbul, attention was drawn to the plight of the imprisoned Partizan Ali Gülmez, who was denied hospital treatment due to the imposition of a caged shuttle vehicle in Izmir No. 1 F-Type Prison, and Ünal Yiğit, who was placed in solitary confinement in Adana F-Type Prison. Banners bearing the slogan “End Solitary Confinement and the Imposition of Caged Shuttle Vehicles in Prisons! Imprisoned Partizans Are Our Honor!” were displayed, along with similar slogans.
