Ecuador: For a First of May that commemorates the murdered workers by the old State

Statement of the Front to Defend the Peoples Struggle of Ecuador (01/05/2023)
Today we do not want to talk about the historical legacy that the Chicago martyrs gave to us, who showed that only the path of organization and struggle can conquer the rights and liberties for the workers.
Today, 1st of May 2023, we do not talk about the strong necessity that the Ecuadorian proletarian has to generate new forms of organization that is forged in the middle of the struggle against revisionism and opportunism; that has as its axis proletarian internationalism, anti-electoralism and to convert the unions into true machines for the class struggle, and, the most important thing, that the proletariat, as class, takes a step forward to lead the New Democratic revolution in the country and to put it in the service of the international proletariat.
We are neither going to talk about the strong responsibility that the proletariat of Ecuador has to struggle relentlessly to defeat revisionism and opportunism that permanently goes hand in hand with death over the workers blood to materialize their dark and perverse interest in the elections.
We are neither going to expose the historical importance that the creation of the International Communist League has to the international proletariat – firm and true tool that will defeat the different strings of neo-revisionism and opportunism that exist in all the countries in the world – to make a leap to a new Communist International and to be the ideological base of the Great World Proletarian Revolution.
Today we are going to talk about hundred, even thousand of the single workers, fishermen, informal miners, workers, construction workers and other that are exploited in the nearest condition of modern slavery, persecuted by the authorities of the old State, also killed by criminal gangs.
We want to talk about the shop keeper, to the informal vendors, to the mechanics, temporary workers, prostitutes, taxi drivers, motorcycle drivers, dock workers, fishermen, market vendors, miners, poor peasant, that has been executed in the most miserable and cruel way. Dead people that has been the result of the selective killers, in other cases, because of not being part of gangs; because of being in the wrong place and time, or something so simple and absurd as that their deaths can be taken as an example to get the will of their people, their families or co-workers.
The regime does not take responsibility for the murders between “criminals”, because it is easier for them to say that these deaths are cause because of disputes between gangs if they cannot profit from the deaths.
The terror is not in the beheaded, dismembered or hung people; and not also in the bags with human remains that are among the city, the threatening calls or the bombing of small shops, hairdresser saloons, shops raised up with the effort of the small entrepreneur that are looking for a way to survive with low wages, but with dignity. We need to understand that terror is on the air, even the unconscious from the common people, who doesn’t know if a son of anyone of us can die in a random attack with explosives that try to cause the biggest pain possible.
The terror is in the air, in the poor neighborhoods, where a walk to school or to work is dangerous, being assaulted, kidnapped to ask for 300 dollars, that by the way, is a fortune for unemployed, marginalized people or those workers that barely lives with their miserable salary and with a super exploitation.
We want to refer to the workers massacred by the criminal gangs, which accomplish a function for the regime, the repressive machine of the old bureaucratic big landlord State; for imperialism, which behind these deaths and acts of violence which have more background than just drug-deal, kidnapping and extortion, and very probably are inside the desires of imperialism to put military bases on the country under the figure of protection or collaboration with the government in it’s fight against the criminals.
This glorious First of May, when conscious workers are mobilized to express their reject to the State, to the regime of the giver banker, lair, criminal and repressor; besides express our deepest class hate against the parasites of the bureaucratic left, electoralist, reformist and country selling, it becomes in a caller cry to sentence for all the times, that, THERE WILL NOT BE FORGIVENESS for the butchers of our people, for those collaborators whose from the Assembly, presidency and all the institutions of the rotten State, promote or cover the daily murder of hundreds of workers AND IT WILL NOT BE FORGOTTEN.
Today, 1st of May of 2023, should become a struggle event that put the bases for the proletariat, on a definitive way, take the role should assume, be the ideological vanguard of the revolutionary transformation of the country and the construction of power; of New Power.
HONOR AND GLORY FOR ALL THE WORKERS COWARDLY MURDERED BY CRIMINAL GANGS UNDER THE ORDERS OF THE OLD BUREAUCRATIC BIG LANDLORD STATE.
FOR A 1ST OF MAY THAT MARKS THE PATH FOR THE NEW HISTORY, OF NEW PROLETARIAN POWER.
ORGANIZE, COMBAT AND RESIST!
IF WE DON’T STRUGGLE AGAINST REVISIONISM, NOTHING WOULD BE DONE!
ONLY WITH STRUGGLE WE CAN CONQUER RIGHTS AND LIBERTIES!
