Sebastián Piñera dies: Enemy of the people of Chile

This representative of the big comprador bourgeoisie will be remembered for what he was: murderer, seller of the country, despot and reactionary politician focused on the elections. And what is worse, he dies in complete impunity with the complacency of Boric, the Broad Front and the false “Communist” Party.
His life ended abruptly, surrounded by what he harvested thanks to his political and business ties: In his millionaire private helicopter, flying over Lake Ralco where he boasted mansions, private beaches and luxuries of all kinds.
His criminal career with a suit and tie dates back to the Fascist Military Junta, where he and his brother José collaborated with Pinochet to implement the AFP system [Translator’s note: system of privatizations of pensions]. In 1982, Sebastián, being a senior official at the Bank of Talca, was convicted of violating banking laws; however, he escaped, giving time for his influence to acquit him.
Magnate who, together with his family, took over television channels, airlines, sports clubs and more, was president twice thanks to bourgeois liberal democracy. Using the executive, he approves dozens of anti-worker, repressive laws that benefit the big bourgeoisie and big landlords.
His “democrat” mask finally falls with his bloody response against the people during the events of the popular revolt that began on 18th of October of 2019, leaving dozens dead, hundreds injured and thousands imprisoned, tortured and jailed.
It is striking how Boric and his henchmen launched a presidential campaign “condemning” and promising that they would make Piñera pay and, finally, they shielded him and ended up allowing him to die without spending a day behind bars.
