Albania: Masses versus Government
Thousands of people took to the streets in Albania’s capital Tirana Firday night against the recent government. They accused Prime Minister Edi Rama of corruption and demanded his resignation.
Thousands gathered in front of Rama’s office, then marched to the office of the Mayor of Tirana. Activists demanded the release of opposition politician, as well being alleged of corruption, Sali Berisha, who is currently under house, served as Prime Minister from 2005 to 2013.
People threw petrol bombs at the government building and a city hall to underscore their determination in the case, what once more shows how imperialism and its lackeys fail to maintain order and how explosive the situation in the Balkan is.
