Turkey: the last 1st of May prisoners were not released
Hereby we publish an unofficial translation of the last update published by Yeni Demokrasi on 1st of May prisoners:
It was decided to keep imprisoned the last four people detained in the 1st of May cases.
Istanbul: those who wanted to march from Saraçhane to Taksim on 1st of May and were detained in house raids within the scope of the operations, and many of those detained were arrested. During the hearings on July 17, most of the prisoners were released and only four prisoners remained imprisoned.
In the detention review held yesterday for the last four prisoners, it was decided to keep them imprisoned.
