One more heinous crime of Israel

The people of Lebanon recover after facing the murderous attacks, with pagers simultaneously exploding across the country on Tuesday, then walkie-talkies detonating in a similar fashion on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, speaking to Israeli troops on Wednesday, Israeli War Minister Yoav Gallant said, “We are at the start of a new phase in the war — it requires courage, determination and perseverance.” “The results are very impressive”, he added, indirectly admitting the responsibility of Israel for the crime.
The first round of blasts began in Lebanon’s capital Beirut and several other areas of the country at about 15:30 local time on Tuesday. Smoke came from people’s pockets, before a small explosion that sounded like fireworks or gunshots. According to the New York Times the pagers received messages probably triggering the devices to explode. Explosions continued for around an hour after the initial blasts.
Similar scenes played out across the country in another round of blasts on Wednesday, at around 17:00 local time. Reports suggest it was walkie-talkies that were blown up. At least one explosion was close to a funeral being held in Beirut for some of the victims of Tuesday’s attack, creating panic among those near the procession.
At least 37 people, including two children, were killed and thousands more injured, many seriously, according to Lebanon’s health ministry. Butcher Israel has once more shown that it deliberately targets civilians, spreading white terror.
Such booby traps are outlawed under the Protocol on Mines, Booby-Traps and Other Devices in the “Amended Protocol II” of the Convention on Certain Conventional Weapons, to which Israel is a party. Article 7, paragraph 2 of Amended Protocol II prohibits the use of “booby-traps or other devices in the form of apparently harmless portable objects which are specifically designed and constructed to contain explosive material.”
Additionally, the harm caused to protected civilians or civilian property must be proportional and not “excessive in relation to the concrete and direct military advantage anticipated” by an attack on a military objective. Article 52 of Additional Protocol I to the Geneva Conventions provides a widely accepted definition of military objective: “In so far as objects are concerned, military objectives are limited to those objects which by their nature, location, purpose or use make an effective contribution to military action and whose total or partial destruction, capture or neutralization, in the circumstances ruling at the time, offers a definite military advantage.”
Accordingly, the actions carried out by Israel constitute one more war crime, to be added on the almost endless list.
Meanwhile Yankee imperialism has supported once again the State of Israel. Yankee bourgeois media reported that the Israeli Defense Minister, Yoav Gallant, called the U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin on Tuesday that a military operation would take place. This call was one of four between both. So, obviously Yankee imperialism was aware of what was happening and did not stopped anything. Even worse: after this terror attacks were taking place in Lebanon, Lloyd Austin expressed “the America’s unwavering support for Israel”, and “emphasized the U.S. commitment to deterring regional adversaries”.
Taiwanese company Gold Apollo said it had authorized the use of its trademarked branding on the pagers that exploded Tuesday. Hence, the devices were actually manufactured and sold by Bac Consulting KFT — a company based in Budapest, Hungary. Contradicting Hungarian news outlet Telex reported on Wednesday that a Sofia-based company called Norta Global Ltd. was behind a deal to sell the pagers and that a Hungarian firm connected with the transaction had not manufactured or sold the pagers. Bulgarian State Agency for National Security denied these reports.
Anyway the sources, like the New York Times, plausibly reports Israel agencies have build up these fake-company years ago, which shows that this mass murder could not be explained by some recent development, but was planed long time ago. The traces also leading directly to the European Union, confirming the guilt of the rulers of the imperialists countries of the European Union, mainly Germany and France who allow and support these atrocities, and their complicity in the ongoing genocide. This reveals the hypocrisy of bigots like Josep Borell.
The recent blatant killings of civilians began just one day after the anniversary of the Sabra and Shatila Massacre: In 1982, following days of siege and bombardment, the Israeli-Lebanese Phalange militias launched an attack, murdering at least 3,000 Palestinian refugees and Lebanese civilians. Under the command of the infamous Ariel Sharon, the IDF illuminated the night sky with flares as the Phalange fighters entered the camps through the Israeli army lines, mercilessly slaughtering anyone in their path, including the elderly, women, and children. They also stormed the camp’s hospital, where they killed nurses, doctors, and patients who had sought refuge from the massacre.
