Israel unleashes a criminal mass bombardment against Lebanon

The State of Israel has carried out a massive bombardment against Lebanon during Monday 23rd of September, mainly against the south of the country, but also against other targets in the interior, among them, the capital Beirut. In this heinous crime, 558 Lebanese people have been murdered and 1,835 have been injured, but the figures could increase since they are being constantly updated by the Lebanese Health Authorities. Thus, the State of Israel is increasing more and more intensely its criminal war against Palestine towards a regional one and more peoples from Middle East are facing those numerous crimes. Since the beginning of the solidarity actions with the Palestinian resistance done by Hezbollah until August, there were more than 500 people murdered in Lebanon. That means that this recent attack, in just one day, has reached the same amount of murders in almost a year.
This number of casualties is the biggest occurred in Lebanon since the end of the civil war (1975-1990). After this brutal crime committed by Israel, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) spokesperson, Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, shamelessly has stated that Israel “is not looking for war” but the army is “at full readiness” in case that the war escalates.
After all of this, it is very clear that this is a criminal attack, as it was with the attack with pagers. This is one part more of the wave of terror unleashed by Israel on the peoples from the Middle East. The bombardment on Friday against densely populated suburbs of Beirut, which ended with the murder of 45 people, the huge majority of them civilians which lived there, also was a part of this wave of terror. The healthcare, judiciary and education systems of Lebanon are collapsed. Moreover there are reports of the State of Israel attempting to demoralize the Lebanese population, it is calling to the Lebanese population to abandon their homes. A psychological warfare is also being carried out, which consisted in more than 80,000 calls and messages via Telegram to force the Lebanese to abandon their homes. Israel is perpetrating this genocidal policy of massacre and expulsion of the masses on southern Lebanon from a while ago. Israel is constantly hitting the civilian population and according to the UN, those attacks have caused more than 95,000 displaced people from October 2023 until June 2024.
Israel has even pointed the possibility to bring war to Lebanon by a land invasion. According to Israeli Military Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi, Israel is preparing the next stage of its operation in Lebanon. Daniel Hagari did not discard a land offensive when the bourgeois press monopolies asked on that possibility. In this occasion, the State of Israel suffered a humiliation, in which Hezbollah made the Israeli troops flee after inflicting a harsh blow to the invincibility aura which always surrounded the Israeli armed forces.
Yankee imperialism has spilled crocodile tears and expressed its “concerns” and urged to “find a path to a diplomatic solution”, as it was said by the Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin to the Israeli Ministry of Defense, Yoav Gallant. Meanwhile Yankee imperialism has decided to send more troops to Middle East. As well they have launched a threat to those who dare to defend themselves from the criminal Yankee and Israeli aggressions. According to the media: “The secretary made clear that the United States remains postured to protect U.S. forces and personnel and determined to deter any regional actors from exploiting the situation or expanding the conflict.” Of course they are determined to prevent any regional actor to do so, except with the State of Israel itself. But he was even further and reaffirmed “the commitment of United States with the self-defense right of Israel”. By his side, Joe Biden has stated that he and other leaders are “working to deescalate”. Currently Yankee imperialism has 40,000 soldiers deployed in the region, in bases in Iraq, Syria and countries of the Persian Gulf. Moreover there is an aircraft carrier deployed in the Gulf of Oman, the U.S.S. Abraham Lincoln, as well there is another one, the U.S.S. Harry S. Truman which is traveling to the Mediterranean Sea. Moreover the numerous shipments of arms to Israel have not ceased and will not do it. On the other hand, the lackeys of Yankee imperialism have displayed once more their despicable role in these facts. For example Egypt has made a “call to use diplomacy”, expressing a shameful equidistance.
Since the moment of the criminal terror attack by Israel with the pagers, the Lebanese resistance decided to respond and since half of past week has being targeting Israeli military targets with hundreds of rockets, cruiser missiles and suicidal drones. According to Israeli sources, during the past week Hezbollah has launched around 700 projectiles on Israel. After the new criminal attack by Israel, the Lebanese resistance has responded. There are many videos and pictures from rockets launched from Lebanon as well as there are reports of wounded Israelis being evacuated towards other areas of Israel. Impacts of projectiles have been recorded in the illegal Israeli settlement of Kiryat Shmona, at the Lebanese border, which caused several fires.
Thus, Israel continues fulfilling its role as butcher of the peoples of Middle East at the service of the interests of Yankee imperialism and it is punishing the solidarity with the Palestinian resistance. Israel, once more, believes that it will be able to intimidate those who oppose it and then, to stop their resistance and solidarity with Palestine. But the Palestinian Resistance has not been crushed and the solidarity of the peoples of the world continues and has even increased, and along with it, also the rejection towards the State of Israel and Yankee imperialism.
