FDLP-EC: ETERNAL HONOR AND GLORY TO YAHYA SINWAR!

We hereby publish an unofficial translation of a declaration of the Front to Defend the Struggles of the People (FDLP) of Ecuador:

Israel dealt a new blow to the leadership of Hamas with the assassination of its top leader: Yahya Sinwar.

Sinwar, born in 1962 in Khan Younis, in the Gaza Strip, grew up in a context of Israeli occupation and, from a young age, became involved in political and militant activities aimed at expelling the Zionist invader. He studied at the Islamic University of Gaza, where he formed connections with other leaders who would later be fundamental to the organization of Hamas. Sinwar was one of the founders of the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of the Hamas.

In 1988, he was arrested by Israeli forces for his participation in armed activities against the Israeli occupation and sentenced to life in prison. During his more than two decades in prison, where he was brutally tortured, he established himself as one of the main leaders of Hamas, influencing the decision-making of the movement from behind bars. In 2011, he was released as part of a prisoner exchange in which Israel that freed more than a thousand prisoners.

In 2017, he was elected as the head of the organization in the Gaza Strip. Under his leadership, Hamas and the people of Gaza have provided a clear example of the stoic resistance of the Palestinian people to throw down Israel and the U.S. on the battlefield.

The oppressed peoples of the world have much to learn from the Palestinian combatants. Cadres combating in the streets shoulder to shoulder with their people. Leaderships willing to give everything in the name of the liberation of the peoples, currently oppressed by Yankee imperialism and its murderous spawn, Zionism.

Sinwar died combating, until his last breath, showing the world that when one is on the side of just wars, any sacrifice is valid for the noble cause of the liberation of the peoples.

The death of Sinwar does not weaken the resistance movement in Palestine; on the contrary, it spurs and strengthens the resolution to not cease, to not kneel until the invader is expelled.

We, the oppressed peoples of the world, are proud to have commanders, militants and combatants, capable of making the supreme sacrifice for the emancipation of our peoples, in our ranks, in the hard struggle to crush and overthrow imperialism.

ETERNAL HONOR AND GLORY TO YAHYA SINWAR!

LONG LIVE THE STRUGGLE OF THE PALESTINIAN PEOPLE!

LONG LIVE THE ANTI-IMPERIALIST STRUGGLE!
