Brazil: “Palestine Will Win”-Festival Joins the Global Campaign led by AIL

Dozens of people simultaneously present at the Palestine Will Win Festival took part in the global campaign led by the international Anti-Imperialist League (AIL). As proposed by the Cultural Collective AND, during the Political Event, those present positioned themselves behind the banner, signed by the movement, with the slogan Palestine is our Country! Together we will win!

This was the highlight of the event, after the entities and personalities present intervened on the stage. Rawa Alsagheer, Coordinator of the Samidoun Solidarity Network for Palestinian Prisoners and member of Masar Badil “Alternative Revolutionary Palestinian Path” spoke for 20 minutes, unmasking the Zionist genocide and, mainly, extolling the revolutionary optimism in the Palestinian Resistance. Also speaking was Dr. Abdel Latif Hassan, a prominent figure in the Palestinian community in Brazil and editorial advisor for AND, for whom the Festival was “a truly Palestinian event” for its forceful defense of Palestinian armed resistance, for its optimism and its democratic character. Also speaking in defense of the Palestinian cause were the representative of the Arabs and Jews for Peace collective, Silvio; and Giz Martins, popular journalist from Complexo da Maré and supporter of the Palestinian cause.
