Ecuador: FDLP-EC on the 131st Anniversary of Chairman Mao

CHAIRMAN MAO, AT HIS 131st ANNIVERSARY, LIVES IN THE HEARTS AND STRUGGLES OF THE OPPRESSED PEOPLE OF THE WORLD!
The proletariat and the people of Ecuador join the great commemoration of another anniversary of the birth of Chairman Mao Tse-tung: the great helmsman, the immortal strategist who lit the purifying fire of the revolution in the hearts of the oppressed, the architect of the New Democratic Revolution, of the Cultural Revolutions and of the implementation of socialism and the dictatorship of the proletariat at the service of the Proletarian World Revolution.
Chairman Mao’s contribution to Marxism-Leninism, converted by Chairman Gonzalo and the People’s War in Peru into Maoism, the third and superior stage of Marxism, is today the storm that shakes the foundations of imperialism and its lackeys; it is the fire that feeds the embers of the revolution, fundamentally in the countries of the Third World.
From the jungles of the Philippines, the Andes mountains in Peru, the hills of Turkey and the forests of India, People’s Wars are rising like storms that sweep away semi-feudalism, bureaucratic capitalism and morbid imperialism; the three mountains that oppress the peoples. This task can only be carried out with People’s War, the military line of the international proletariat that, moreover, has become the strongest heartbeat of the revolution, the war dance of the masses that tirelessly and implacably strive to leave no stone unturned of the old Power and the old established order.
In Palestine, the people resist like steel tempered in the crucible of struggle. Every martyr, every casualty inflicted on the Zionist invader, every barricade that challenges Yankee imperialism, is a blow against oppression and a cry of rebellion that resonates in every corner of the world. Among the rubble, olive trees rise like raised fists, symbols of the victory that will be born from resistance. As Chairman Mao taught us, resistance is not just an act of struggle, it is the purest expression of revolutionary love for the land, for the class and for our people. In the face of the terror of Zionism and the imperialist war machinery, the Palestinian people demonstrate that the oppressors are paper tigers and that the organization of the masses can pulverize their weapons and dismantle their rule.
Imperialism, that colossus with feet of clay, trembles before the spark lit by Chairman Mao, who turns its shadows into ashes and its power into rubble. He bequeathed to us the irrefutable truth that revolution is a historical necessity; it is not an isolated act, but the unstoppable force of the peoples who, like a volcano, explode to set fire to the prairies and build a new world on the ruins of oppression.
Today, as the red flags flutter in the wind like living flames, we reaffirm that Chairman Mao gave us the guide for action, so that the oppressed of the earth may rise up and take the sky by storm. His thought, a weapon loaded with the future, a living tool that illuminates the darkest nights and marks the path to the conquest of the red sun for liberation: Communism.
