Bangladesh: Wave of actions for Siraj Sikder

2nd of January, this year, was the 50th anniversary of the martyrdom of Siraj Sikder, an extraordinary Bangladeshi Maoist leader who was tortured and murdered by the old Bangladeshi State. On the same day the National Martyrs’ Day is also commemorated. Due to that, from the end of 2024 the RSYM has carried out many rallies and marches:

One massive rally was held on January 3 at the local railway Krishnachura Square in Mymensingh:

At the Rajbari District, Dhaka, an open meeting was carried out on the streets:

Also a march was done on the same place:

A big mobilization has been done also at the Rajshahi District:

A march and a tribute was carried out at the cemetery:

The RSYM has also put up posters and made much more agitation actions:

The People’s Democratic Students Unity (PDSU) has also paid homage to Comrade Siraj Sikder with a poster:
