Austria: Boycott actions in Linz against the electoral farce

We hereby share a report of actions published by Action for Democratic Rights of the People, and shared also by the newspaper Rote Fahne.

On January 12, the first round for the Linz mayor election was held. Due to the corruption scandal, the previous mayor Luger (Social-Democratic Party of Austria, SPÖ) resigned. Activists of the “Action for Democratic Rights of the People” (ADRV), distributed leaflets and carried out actions against the electoral propaganda. The activists raised the slogans: “No stability for the old system! For the active electoral boycott!” and “Do not vote, resist and struggle!”:
