Mexico: Call: International Day of Action for the Freedom of Georges Abdallah!
We hereby publish an unofficial translation of a call by Sol Rojo Mexico:
On February 20, the French Court of Appeal will decide on the request for freedom and extradition of comrade Georges Ibrahim Abdallah, who has spent more than 40 years imprisoned in the dungeons of French imperialism on the orders of Yankee imperialism in complicity with criminal Zionism.
On February 20, the Current of the People – Red Sun calls for actions in Mexico to help spread the word, defend and demand the immediate release of Georges Ibrahim Abdallah. At the international level, actions begin on February 19.
Our democratic organization is part of the conglomerate of organizations that at the international level uphold the demand for freedom for the Lebanese communist who has been a symbol and example of the national liberation struggle of his country and of Palestine.
On February 19 and 20, it is important that we raise the flags of proletarian internationalism, the flags of Georges Abdallah, the flags of Palestine and the flags of our people against Yankee imperialism (the main enemy of the peoples), French imperialism and criminal Zionism.
