The murder of Comrade Basavaraj Protested Across the World

After the murder of the General Secretary of the CPI (Maoist), Comrade Basavaraj, many protests, statements and actions have taken place around the world. We hereby share a compilation of some of those actions:
In India a mass convention and protest took place in Sangrur against the massacre of Maoists and against Operation Kagar. Harsh Thakor reports that “The state-level convention organized by the Democratic Front Against Operation Green Hunt opposed the genocidal war being waged in the name of eliminating Naxalism in Bastar and other Adivasi areas. More than 40 farmer, labor, rural mazdoor, student, youth, employee organizations, cultural and literary and democratic forums from Punjab participated enthusiastically.”
The Revolutionary Students’ Front (RSF) has launched a protest campaign. On May 25, the RSF held a speech and a meeting on the streets, on occasion of the Naxalbari Martyrs’ Day and they held slogans for Comrade Basavaraj:

In Turkey Partizan has hanged up banners honoring Comrade Basavaraj and the other 27 Maoist martyrs:
