Solidarity with Comrade Basavaraj Does Not Stop

Hereby we share some actions done in different countries in honor of the martyred Comrade Basavaraj, General Secretary of the Communist Party of India (Maoist) murdered by the old Indian State.
In Cologne, Germany, Partizan, Roter Bund (Red League) and Young Struggle held a commemoration for Comrade Basavaraj and the 30 People’s Warriors martyred in India. Comrades from the Cologne Red Youth also participated in the event, which started at 19:00, featured a video showing and speeches on the meaning and importance of the day:
A statement on the death of Comrade Basavaraj and that this coward murder will not end with the People’s War was published by the Turkish newspaper Yeni Demokrasi. Additionally a poem was also included:
An event on the People’s War in India and the Martyrdom of Comrade Basavaraj will be held on July 5 in Torrejón de Ardoz, Madrid, Spanish State. The Revolutionary Committee of Madrid will be guiding the presentation and they will explain who was Comrade Basavaraj and why he is so loved by million of oppressed masses in India.
On June 21 Comrade Basavaraj and the 27 comrades who were also murdered were honored during a demonstration in support of Palestine in Kokkola, Finland. During the speech the relationship between India and Israel was highlighted, as well as the full support of the Communist Party of India (Maoist) to the Palestinian national liberation struggle.
As reported, the crowds broadly joined in the cries supporting the resistance and the freedom of Palestine. The demonstration showed and heard unity in anti-imperialist positions.
