VIDEO: Testimony from Peasants of the Gedeon Area

The Brazilian Center for Solidarity with the Peoples (Cebraspo) published a video with testimonies from peasants from the Gedeon José Duque Revolutionary Area. According to the newspaper Resistência Camponesa, the complaints and testimonies from the peasants were collected during the Solidarity Mission to the Gedeon José Duque Revolutionary Area, led by the League of Poor Peasants, which took place on April 12 and 13, 2025.

The video and a detailed report were shown during the Public Event entitled “Agrarian Conflicts in Rondônia: the fight for land and the actions of “Invasão Zero”, held on May 15, 2025, at 7 pm, in the auditorium of UNIR Centro, in Porto Velho, Rondônia. The event was convened by CEBRASPO and ABRAPO, and was attended by numerous entities, class organizations, research groups, journalists and activists.
