LONG LIVE THE 132ND ANNIVERSARY OF CHAIRMAN MAO TSE-TUNG’S BIRTH AND THE THIRD ANNIVERSARY OF THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNIST LEAGUE

December 26 is a date of profound significance for the international proletariat and the oppressed peoples of the world; two commemorations that are inseparable in content and perspective converge on this day: the 132nd anniversary of Chairman Mao Tse-tung’s birth and the third anniversary of the founding of the International Communist League.

Commemorating Chairman Mao’s birthday is not merely a ceremonial act. It is a reaffirmation of Maoism as the highest development of Marxism-Leninism to a third and higher stage, with contributions to the three main sources: philosophy, economics, and socialism. Chairman Mao contributed to Marxism-Leninism a superior understanding of how to make revolution and how to sustain it until its historical ends: he developed dialectics applied to politics through the law of contradiction, affirmed practice as the criterion of truth, and established the mass line as a method of leadership to link the Party with the people; he formulated, for oppressed countries, the strategy of New Democracy, the united front under proletarian leadership, and the construction of new power; and he placed at the center the people’s war as the theory of the proletariat for the conquest of power and the generation of new power, understood not as an isolated military event but as an integral political process of mass organization, destruction of the old State, and construction of a new revolutionary state. Furthermore, he established that the class struggle continues under socialism, warned of the danger of capitalist restoration, and raised the need to continue the revolution by transforming social relations, ideology, and culture, so that the struggle for power and its defense are oriented, through protracted people’s war, toward the strategic goal of abolishing all exploitation and advancing until communism.

It sheds light on the fundamental problems of our time: the reality of a decaying imperialist system, the intensification of the class struggle on a world scale, and the need for communist leadership capable of transforming the indignation of the masses into a conscious, organized, and revolutionary force. Above all, Chairman Mao bequeaths to us the understanding that politics is paramount, that without the Party there is no revolution, and that the cause of communism only advances when the masses are served with a correct line and people’s war as the military line of the proletariat.

For this very reason, greeting the third anniversary of the International Communist League on this same date is not a mere coincidence, but rather an affirmation of principle: the international unification of communists only makes sense if it is sustained in Maoism and if it is oriented toward resolving the tasks of the world proletarian revolution. The League expresses the historical need to strengthen coordination, ideological demarcation, and common action against imperialism, reaction, and the struggle against revisionism, and to promote the construction and tempering of communist parties as indispensable instruments for the conquest of power.

In today’s world, where old States unleash wars, repression, dispossession, and hunger on the people; where they seek to impose resignation under military aggression and blackmail; where opportunism attempts to turn popular rebellion into electoral routine and the administration of defeat, the responsibility of communists is to raise their strategic gaze and act firmly by developing people’s wars throughout the world. The best tribute to Chairman Mao is the consistent struggle to creatively apply Maoism to the concrete reality of each country, raising the level of organization, programmatic clarity, and the generation of guiding thoughts that clear the way for the development and application of Marxism-Leninism-Maoism; a dialectical process that manifests itself, with contributions of universal character and validity, Gonzalo Thought.

Hence, this greeting is both recognition and commitment. Recognition of those who, under difficult conditions, hold high the red flag of proletarian internationalism and work for unity under Maoism. And a commitment to persist in the ideological battle and in political practice to defeat revisionism, economism, parliamentary cretinism, and all forms of conciliation with the old power; to affirm a proletarian, class-based, and revolutionary orientation; and to indissolubly link the proletarian cause to the real needs of the working masses, peasants, and popular masses.

May this December 26 serve to temper convictions, to close ranks, to raise the sense of historical responsibility, and to reinforce the essential idea: without internationalism there is no lasting victory, and without Maoism there is no true communist unification. With Chairman Mao in our combative memory — a guide for action — and with the International Communist League as a reference and instrument of unity in ideology, we salute the international proletariat; the people’s wars in India, Turkey, the Philippines, and Peru; the communist parties under construction or reconstitution; and all peoples that resist imperialist domination.

May the revolutionary forces multiply. May unity under Maoism be strengthened on the basis of the two-line struggle. May the tasks of the international proletariat advance in service to the World Proletarian Revolution. May new storms of people’s war break out decisively and sweep away the old and give life to the new; unstoppably, until the final goal: golden communism!
