URGENT – India: Police Raid Against the General Secretary of the RSF

The Revolutionary Students’ Front (RSF) has reported on police raids made against the residence of Comrade Tathagata Roy Chowdhury, its General Secretary, today at 04:46 AM. The RSF condemns the increase of the use of these tactics against activists across India, making fabricated cases against them. The RSF explains that this is not the first time that such raids occur, since on October 2024 they already faced repression by the old State under the charges of “conspiracy to reorganize Maoist activities”.

At the end of the statement the RSF reaffirms its position despite all the cases and repression that they face, and that they remain under Marxism-Leninism-Maoism and with the goal of organizing the New Democratic Revolution in India.
