The State of Israel continues to expand its settlements in the West Bank, facilitating their policy of occupation through attacks, the demolishing of homes, and the destruction of farmland, detainment and raids carried out by the repressive State forces, Israeli settlers and paramilitaries.

A wave of settler raids were carried out against several villages in the West Bank, attacking and injuring the local peasantry. Additionally Israeli troops stormed cities, towns and refugee camps in Ramallah, Nablus, Tubas, Jenin, Qalqilya, Bethlehem, Hebron and Jerusalem, conducting house searches and arrests.

In raids carried out on the 10th and 11th of July, Israeli occupation forces and settlers attacked Palestinian residents in several areas across the West Bank, including in Beit Furik and Beit Imrin close to Nablus, Khirbet Rabud near Dura, Yatta, south of Hebron, the Al-Mazra’a area and East Jerusalem.

Israeli occupation forces wounded several Palestinians, assaulted residents and detained Palestinian Red Crescent ambulance crews during a pre-dawn raid on Al-Mughayyir, east of Ramallah.

In the Palestinian hamlet of Khirbet Yanon, east of Nablus, Israeli forces demolished the Yanon Mixed Basic School.

In yet another display of its allegiance to the State of Israel and its abetment in the crimes in the ongoing occupation of the West Bank, the “Palestinian Authority” (PA) are treating members of Israeli paramilitary groups which act in the Gaza Strip. A recent report from Quds News Network informs that several hospitals and hotels in the West Bank have received dozens of wounded members of the paramilitary groups, coordinated by a senior “Palestinian Authority” official.

In a newly published joint report shared by the The Palestine Chronicle, it is presented how Israeli occupation authorities advanced plans for 40,064 settlement housing units during the past three years, including 27,941 units in 2025 alone—more than double the previous annual record, with 185 new settlement outposts and around 130 agricultural outposts, potentially able to facilitate the accommodation of between 160,000 and 200,000 additional Israeli settlers.

The settlements constitute now, according to the report, around 1000 km² – or around 18% of the total area of the West Bank.

According to a report cited by Palestine Chronicle, Israeli authorities have additionally carried out 341 demolition operations since the beginning of 2026, destroying 740 Palestinian structures and displacing 923 Palestinians, including 546 children. Since October 2023 Israeli forces, including settlers, security forces, and paramilitaries, have murdered at least 1,175 Palestinians, injured 12,919, displaced 33,000, and arrested nearly 24,000 Palestinians.
