Norway – Kampkomiteen: Demonstrations Against the Wars of Aggression of Yankee Imperialism and in Support of Resistance

Kampkomiteen reports of two recent demonstrations against the wars of aggression of Yankee imperialism and in support of resistance, in which several organizations, including Kampkomiteen, participated.
On the 19th of June in Oslo, Kampkomiteen participated along with several other organizations in a demonstration in support of the resistance in Lebanon, organized by the Solidarity Network.
The demonstration started at Grønlands Torg, where several speeches raising the Palestinian, Iranian and Lebanese resistance against Yankee imperialism and Israel were held. The demonstration then continued in a march toward the Israeli embassy. Slogans such as “Long live Lebanon!”, “Viva, viva intifada!”, and “Long live the resistance!” were chanted.
On the 3rd of July in Oslo, Kampkomiteen participated in another demonstration organized by the Solidarity Network, against the wars and genocides of the US. The main slogan of the demonstration was “Stop the US’ and Israel’s wars and genocides!”. Additionally the demonstration marked one thousand days since Israel intensified its genocide against the Palestinian people since 7th of October 2023, highlighting that this also marked 1000 days of resistance.
After a musical performance of the song “Shut down the embassy!” from Gangsta Grandma, several speeches denounced the war crimes of Yankee imperialism and Israel, and the right to resistance against it. Additionally the Lebanese resistance was highlighted, as well as the resistance of the Indian people. The demonstration then carried on toward the Israeli embassy, while slogans such as “Down with the US! Down with Israel!”, “US and Israel, hands off Iran!”, and “Down with the occupier, support the resistance!” were chanted throughout.
