US Secretary Marco Rubio has invited Brazil, along with 59 other countries, to participate in a meeting scheduled for the 16th of July, aimed at coordinating international measures against the “resurgence of the far left” and so-called “political terrorism,” where countries from Europe, Asia, as well as countries from the so-called Western Hemisphere will attend, A Nova Democracia (AND) reports.

AND reports that according to the new White House counter-terrorism strategy, the targets of Yankee imperialism are divided into three categories: “narcoterrorists and transnational gangs”; Islamic organizations; and “violent left-wing extremists.” The document mandates identifying and “neutralizing” secular political groups considered “anti-American,” mapping their members, and uncovering their links to international organizations. Law enforcement and intelligence agencies are to work to “incapacitate them operationally.” In this vein, the strategy sets three tasks: identifying organizations and actions before they occur; cutting off weapons, funding, and recruitment; and destroying already established groups.

This initiative comes as an attempt to transform the new White House counter-terrorism strategy into “international cooperation”, and is reportedly a response to a “longstanding threat that is resurfacing with strong transnational ties and new convergences.”

In Europe, according to claims made by Donald Trump, Yankee imperialism is already coordinating counter-terrorism operations. The measures reportedly include the sharing of intelligence information, and the providing of assistance to governments that adopt the same definition of threat. AND reports that four leftist organizations in Germany, Italy and Greece have already been classified by Yankee imperialism as “Foreign Terrorist Organizations.”
