Mexico: Dozens Murdered under the Salomón Jara’s Four Years in Office

During Salomón Jara’s four years in office in Oaxaca, five municipal council members have been murdered, along with 21 activists and indigenous leaders | An article from La Jornada
– Among the murdered activists and human rights defenders, the cases of Sandra Estefana Domínguez Martínez and Félix Vicente Cruz stand out; the latter was a supporter of Sol Rojo Mexico.
– We also remember the five community members murdered in the massacre of San Sebastián Coatlán on March 23rd, 2025; their names were: Eutiquio Loaeza Jiménez, Adrián Jiménez, Israel Pérez Hernández, Javier Víctor Jiménez Pérez, and Vidal Ruiz.
– In Oaxaca, between 310 and 330 violent deaths of women were documented from December 1st, 2022, to July 15th, 2026, but the number continues to rise.
