Mexico: Weekly Newsletter
We hereby share an unofficial translation of the part on Mexico from the latest Weekly Newsletter published by Sol Rojo on the 3rd of August.
This Saturday, August 1st, Several protests were carried out in various cities across the country rejecting the “Water cooperation agreement” signed by the PAN Party government of Chihuahua and the embassy of “Israel” in Mexico.
Various anti-fascist and anti-imperialist movements organized these events as part of the Defense of water and life in Mexico and Palestine, with the demand that the Mexican government sever relations with “Israel,” and condemnation of the genocide in Gaza, which we—the Front of the People-Red Sun and the Promotional Committee of the Anti-Imperialist League Mexico—joined.
Our Flags and propaganda were present at the marches and activities in Aguascalientes. Cozumel Island, Oaxaca and Mexico City, where our comrades participated with a strong militant spirit.
In general, the consciousness of the peoples of Anáhuac is very strong in their rejection of Yankee and Zionist interventionism in our country, and these activities have demonstrated that the Palestine solidarity movement is very strong in Mexico— something that was palpable in the various cities where activities took place.
