Mexico: Report of Actions Against the State of Israel

After the signing of the “water cooperation agreement” between the embassy of Israel and the state government of Chihuahua, Sol Rojo Mexico reported on several mobilizations that took place across the country against the State of Israel. We hereby share some images and information about them.

In Chihuahua and Ciudad Juárez, several organizations and collectives carried out mobilizations.

Sol Rojo activists participated in a march in Aguas Calientes, where they put up posters of the Front of the People – Sol Rojo (FP-Sol Rojo) and the International Anti-imperialist League (AIL).

The activists distributed leaflets and carried out a rally in the square of Oaxaca, where they also put up posters and dazibaos in the palace of the government and deployed a large Palestine flag. The activists also participated in the feminist march and put up posters of FP-Sol Rojo and the AIL.

There was a rally in Isla Cozumel where Sol Rojo activists gathered signatures demanding that the Mexican government sever relations with the State of Israel. They also distributed leaflets and put up posters of the FP-Sol Rojo and the AIL.

In Ciudad de México Sol Rojo activists along with comrades of the LAC participated in an anti-fascist march, distributing leaflets of the FP – Sol Rojo and the AIL.

Sol Rojo México reports that these mobilizations have “made the rejection of the peoples of Mexico clear towards the Israeli intervention” and “have showed the strong support to the Palestinian people and its heroic National Resistance. The correct path, the task today is the strengthening of the solidarity movement with Palestine and the construction of a truly Anti-imperialist Front.”
