Turkey: The Trial Dates for Eray Çıta and Gülhanım Aslandoğan Have Been Set

We hereby share an unofficial translation of an article published by Yeni Demokrasi on September 9.


The trial dates for Eray Çıta and Gülhanım Aslandoğan—Partizan readers who were arrested on May 1—have been set.

The Partizan readers, whose indictments have been prepared, will stand trial on charges of “membership in an organization.” Eray Çıta’s trial will be held on November 4 at 9:55 a.m. at the Istanbul 23rd High Criminal Court, while Gülhanım Aslandoğan’s trial will be held in the same court on November 16 at 10:10 a.m.

The indictments against the Partizan readers who are under house arrest have not yet been prepared.
