Bangladesh – PDSU: For the Release of Comrades of the Revolutionary Student-Youth Movement

We hereby share an unofficial translation of a note published by People’s Democratic Students Unity on November 4.

We demand the immediate and unconditional release of the comrades!

Comrade Rakib Uddin, President of the Revolutionary Workers Movement, Chittagong Metropolitan Branch, and Comrade Shanto of the Revolutionary Student-Youth Movement. We strongly condemn and protest the arrest of Comrade Zahid, Vice President of the Chittagong Metropolitan branch, and Comrade Shant by the EPZ police.

Campaigning for the just demands of workers is not a crime. The movement cannot be suppressed by silencing the voices demanding workers’ rights.

We demand the immediate and unconditional release of those arrested in the ongoing movement. The struggle for workers’ rights will continue.
