New Cultural Collective in Finland releases Revolutionary Rap Song

Punalippu reports that they have received an anti-imperialist rap song from the newly formed Isku cultural collective, along with a short note.

In the note they write that they have come to the conclusion that “culture must serve the people”, and that as a a result they have formed the Isku collective, to build a new political cultural movement in Finland, with an aim of bringing “the international struggle of the proletariat to light in the cultural field.”

They go on to write: “and we announce with great proletarian joy that our first song “Punainen Aurinko” has been released. With the song we want to promote the building of the Anti-imperialist Front in Finland, and bring the decline of Finnish imperialism to light through music. We invite all proletarian, progressive, and revolutionary musicians, visual artists and cultural people to join the Isku collective to create a truly new workers’ culture in Finland.”
