On Sunday, February 15th two children were murdered in an ambush orchestrated by the so-called Palestinian Authority (PA) in Tammun, Tubas, in the West Bank. The PA opened fire on a vehicle carrying the children and their father, killing his 16-year-old son. His three year old daughter died soon after from her injuries and many of the children are still in critical condition after their injuries.
Samer Samara, the father driving the vehicle, was reportedly wanted by the State of Israel, and this is the reason given by the PA to attempt to justify the murder of children. PA continues actively pursuing and attacking enemies of the occupying State of Israel, attacking the resistance of the people of Palestine as an executive arm of the occupier.
The Committee of Families of Political Prisoners has condemned the shooting, calling it the result of a “systematic policy targeting resistance fighters and wanted individuals even at the cost of Palestinian blood. […] Attempts to justify what happened or portray it as a normal security procedure will not change the fact that Palestinian blood was shed as a result of a decision to pursue a man wanted by the occupation,” Palestine Chronicle reports.
