International May Day Agitation

In preparation for the upcoming May Day, there have been multiple actions and calls internationally, we hereby share some of them.
In Turkey, multiple agitation actions have been carried out. In Esenyurt and Okmeydanı, as well as in Şahintepe, Okmeydanı, Avcılar and areas along the Kadıköy-Gebze line, leaflets have been distributed, banners erected, graffiti painted and stickers put up, calling for the participation with Partizan in the May 1st demonstration in Taksim Square, Istanbul. Some of the slogans erected include: “On its 50th Anniversary, Taksim Belongs to the People, From Past to Future!” and “The Land is Ours, the Labor is Ours, the World Will Be Ours!”.





Partizan published a video of agitation carried out in working class neighborhoods.
The May 1st Taksim Initiative, of which Partizan is a member organization, announced that it will be in Mecidiyeköy at 11:00 AM to march to Taksim for May 1st in Istanbul.
A press conference has been called in Switzerland, to show solidarity with the revolutionaries detained in the many raids conducted on homes and revolutionary newspapers in Turkey.
In Clermont Ferrand, France, the Communist Youth have erected a dazibao calling for high school students to channel their anger in the 1st of May demonstration.

In Norway calls and agitation actions have been carried out by Kampkomiteen, mobilizing for 1st of May demonstrations in Oslo, Bergen, Kristiansand and Trondheim. Kampkomiteen in Oslo, Bergen and Trondheim has published a call and a poster calling for the participation in the anti-imperialist 1st of May demonstration starting at 11:00 at Grønland Torg, 11:00 at Nonneseter, and 12:00 at Nordre Gate, respectively. In Kristiansand, Kampkomiteen have also erected posters mobilizing for the 1st of May demonstration at 11:45 by Arbeideren, Festningsgata 4.




In Bremen, Germany, posters have been erected mobilizing for the May Day demonstration with the DGB demonstration starting at 10:45 at Weser Stadium, and a subsequent rally starting at 16:00 at Schweizer Eck.


Per La Democrazia Popolare of Italy published a 1st of May statement.
The KKE (ml) has made calls for the 1st of May mobilizations in several cities, including Chania at 10:00 at Agora Square, Ioannina at 10:30 at the Labor Center, Trikala at 10:00 at the Labor Center, Thessaloniki at 10:30 at Kamara, They also announce that there will be mobilizations in Athens at 10:30 at Korai Square, and Patras at 10:30 at the Labor Center. Posters have also been published.
