After the ceasefire initiated between the resistance and Israel on the 10th of October 2025, Israel stated that they would retreat behind an arbitrary “yellow line”, essentially controlling about 60% of Gaza. Despite the ceasefire Israel has carried out almost daily strikes, combined with repressive measures such as blocking the entry of food, water and medicine, creating a dire humanitarian situation for the population.
Recently, Israel announced a further encroachment on Palestinian land, expanding the yellow line further west, now in an attempt to control 70% of Gaza.
Since the initiation of the ceasefire in October, reports show that from the ceasefire started to the 10th of April, Israel has violated the ceasefire 3,005 times. Included are 1,109 air strikes and other shelling attacks, alongside 921 shootings targeting civilians, murdering at least 904, with at least 229 of them being children, and wounding a further 2,713.
Palestine Chronicle reports that an Israeli collaborator accused of helping Israel target senior resistance leaders has been arrested by the resistance, after he attempted to flee towards the “yellow line”.
This comes after reports that the newly appointed leader of the Al Qassam Brigades, Mohammed Awda, was murdered by an Israeli strike along with his wife and children. He has been described as one of the foundational figures of the movement’s military wing, and a funeral service honoring his memory and struggle was organized.
During Eid al-Adha, Israel cowardly targeted Gaza during the celebrations, murdering six, and wounding 42. This comes as a cynical attempt of Israel in attempting to crush the Palestinian fighting spirit by preventing them from performing their religious traditions.
In the West Bank, the campaigns of occupation and oppression continue to escalate, as Israel has approved yet another major settlement expansion in the Jordan valley, while settlers and armed forces escalated their raids throughout the West bank, carried out murders, demolitions and closed mosques. The Palestinian spirit of resistance lives on despite this repression, with several actions of resistance carried out against the occupier.
During Eid, a ramming operation was carried out in Gush Etzion south of Jerusalem, wounding four Israeli settlers. The man who carried out the operation was murdered.
The ongoing Israeli military operation in Tulkarem and Nur Shams refugee camps have been extended by another month. The offensive began on January 21, 2025, as part of a broader Israeli military campaign launched in the northern West Bank, initially targeting Jenin before expanding to Tulkarem and Nur Shams.
In the town of Beita, south of Nablus, Israeli forces entered with military bulldozers and ordered merchants to evacuate shops in the local market before demolishing several commercial structures.
Israeli forces also raided Tubas, the towns of Al-Yamoun and Al-Zababdeh near Jenin, and several locations in the Hebron (Al-Khalil) governorate.
In Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, troops imposed a curfew and ordered shop owners to close their businesses.
Occupation forces also raided Al-Arroub refugee camp and detained a Palestinian teenager.
