Italy: PLDP – POMPEII, JUNE 27: PUBLIC EVENT IN SUPPORT OF THE NEW DEMOCRATIC REVOLUTION IN INDIA

We hereby share an unofficial translation on the call for an event organized by Per la Democrazia Popolare (PLDP – Collective for People’s Democracy) on 21st of June.

The Collective for People’s Democracy of Naples and its Province, and the Committee of Solidarity with Oppressed Peoples and New Democratic Revolutions announce that on Saturday, June 27th, there will be a public presentation of the dossier “India: A Great New Democratic Revolution,” prepared by the PLDP Collectives and the Committee. The event will take place in Pompeii and will begin at 10 a.m. The dossier will be presented, with the first part dedicated to remarks by the organizing comrades, who will explain why it is of paramount importance for anti-imperialists to defend the People’s War in India. This initiative is part of an effort to promote an Italian campaign in support of the New Democratic Revolution currently underway in India. A second part will follow, on an open debate to all interested comrades. Copies of the dossier will be available. The event is open to all individuals and organizations with a clear anti-imperialist orientation who wish to discuss one of the most important revolutionary experiences of our time. The organizers hope that this initiative will lay the groundwork for a convergence on issues such as the anti-imperialist struggle, support for the People’s Wars of New Democracy, and opposition to the growing process of fascistization.
