Turkey: Protests Against NATO in Istanbul

On Monday 29th significant protests emerged during the NATO Parliamentary Summit in Dolmabahçe, Istanbul, which is a preparatory meeting for the NATO Summit in Ankara that will take place on the 7th and the 8th of July. Demonstrations were held in multiple places despite extensive police blockages, voicing opposition to NATO’s policies and military interventions, leading to clashes with the police.
