Actions for the 34th Anniversary of Chairman Gonzalo’s Speech

On September 24, 34 years had passed since the historic speech by Chairman Gonzalo. Revolutionary activists have carried out actions and made statements in commemoration of this occasion internationally. Below we share a report:

In Denmark, a dazibao was put up in commemoration of the 34th anniversary of the speech. The slogans painted on the dazibao reads “Eternal honor and glory to Chairman Gonzalo!”, “Long Live the People’s War in Peru!” and “Long Live the Communist Party of Peru!”, Roede Fane reports.

Association of New Democracy – Germany published a statement by the Peru People’s Movement (MPP) as well as the full speech of Chairman Gonzalo on the occasion of the 34th anniversary.
The People’s Revolutionary Students Movement (MEPR) in Brazil published the speech on the occasion of the anniversary.
Dem Volke Dienen of Germany republished a passage from a Klassenstandpunkt interview with the Red League, as well as the speech on the occasion.
Tjen Folket Media of Norway republished a statement from 2023, and shared the video of Chairman Gonzalo’s speech with Norwegian subtitles on the occasion of the anniversary.
