Italy – PLDP: Invitation to Anti-imperialist Event

NAPLES, OCTOBER 31: INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE IN THE ANTI-IMPERIALIST EVENT

The Collectives For Popular Democracy have carried out publicity campaigns involving the posting of flyers and posters at various universities and in different locations in the centers of Naples, Rome, Pisa, Trento, and Milan to promote the initiative in solidarity with oppressed peoples and to introduce the International Anti-Imperialist League (AIL). The event will take place on October 31 in Naples at the Sala Sole, located on Vico Freddo in Rua Catalana, starting at 10:30 AM.

The event is conceived as a public political gathering to present the International Anti-Imperialist League, featuring a segment on culture and art followed by speeches on the initiative’s theme by Italian and foreign delegates. A delegation from the Communist Youth (Jeunesse Communiste) of France and the French section of the International Anti-Imperialist League will be present. Next, the participating Italian organizations will speak, including the Italian Marxist-Leninist Party. The event will conclude with an open discussion on anti-imperialism and its relevance today.

The event’s organizers consider it of primary importance to promote opposition to the imperialist system; they also emphasize the need to strengthen internationalist solidarity with peoples struggling for their self-determination and for a future of New Democracy leading seamlessly toward socialism, as in the cases of India, the Philippines, Peru, and Turkey. For this reason, it is essential to promote red and revolutionary internationalist support, capable of connecting diverse experiences of resistance and building a common vision of emancipation.

Countries want sovereignty, nations want independence, peoples want revolution!
