Ireland: Coordinated police action against anti-imperialists
We publish an unofficial translation of an article by the Norwegian revolutionary media Tjen Folket Media (Serve the People).
The Struggle Committee (Kampkomiteen) mobilizises for a solidarity rally on the 19th of April in Oslo to support Irish anti-imperialists who have been subjected to a series of coordinated police raids in connection to the visit of Joe Biden to Irland.

Right now: Condemn the persecution of the anti-imperialist movement in Ireland!
Our comrades in Anti-imperialist Action Ireland announce today through their Twitter account about a massive police operation against their activists and sympathisers. They write that the operation against their activists was initiated early on Monday morning, when police stormed homes of multiple activists in a coordinated action. The police has carried out house searches and confiscated mobile phones, all electronic devices, as well as political literature and material. The comrades write that most of the activists have now been let go, but that two activists still remain arrested.
Repression and attacks against the revolutionaries and the Republican movement have intensified strongly in the weeks ahead of the planned visit of the American president Joe Biden. Also in connection to the yearly celebrations of the Irish Easter Rebellion of 1916 a number of Republican celebrations all over the country have been harassed and surveilled by the repressive forces of the imperialists.
We wish to express our unconditional support and solidarity with our Irish comrades, their families and friends. We condemn the attack against the revolutionary movement in Ireland!

The Struggle Committee in Oslo invites all anti-imperialists and friends of the Irish people to participate in a manifestation of solidarity with Anti-Imperialist Action Ireland .
