After the teenager Nahel was murdered by the police France was set on fire with a powerful display of the revolutionary force of the masses. To temporary cease the flames the French State implemented severe policies, mobilized 45,000 police officers and arrested more than 3,400 people. More than 700 of these received prison sentences.
