No NPA in Southern Tagalog will accept the amnesty offer of Marcos Jr.

The illegitimate regime of US-Marcos-Duterte is daydreaming that NPA units will accept its amnesty offer. Ferdinand Marcos Jr mentioned it in his second State of the Nation Address (SONA) on July 24th.
No member of the NPA-ST [New People’s Army – Southern Tagalog] will accept the amnesty offer and stop the revolution. The Red fighters have a firm grip of their NPA iron discipline and they strongly believe in the correctness of revolution. The lives of every Red fighter are dedicated to the broad masses of the people, not to the whims of a few ruling classes. The NPAs are ready to sacrifice, even their lives, to advance the People’s War to victory.
The US-Marcos II regime is perverting the great revolutionary principles of the NPA. That promotes the democratic interest of all oppressed and exploited classes and the national freedom through People’s War. The justice of this war was recognized, not only in the country but throughout the world. It achieved the status of belligerency where it was recognized as an equal competing force of the reactionary State in the ongoing people’s war in the Philippines. In contrast to this is the unjust war against the people, for the few and foreign interest, of the ruling class now led by the puppet Marcos Jr. in the guidance of US imperialism.
The US-Marcos II regime is also hypocritical in offering amnesty while rampantly militarizing the countryside. The most brutal type of human rights violations mercilessly target combatants, especially specific cadres and units of the NPA and ruthlessly target civilians.
Marcos Jr.’s “granting of amnesty” is clearly only a part of the campaign to subjugate the revolutionary people. Just like the proposed localized peace talks, this is a bullet aimed at destroying the people’s armed resistance. This is a form of deception to deceive the masses and boost the failed counter-revolutionary war.
On the other hand, Marcos Jr.’s offer of amnesty to the NPA proves that it is afraid of the power of the revolutionary movement that remains and stabilizes in the midst of the worsening crisis of the semi-colonial and semi-feudal state. It is crazy that the reactionary State and imperialism seek to destroy the revolutionary struggle of the Filipino people. The national democratic revolution will continue to advance and grow stronger until imperialism, feudalism and bureaucratic capitalism are eradicated.
