Chile: Boric rebuked by the “Toma 17 de Mayo” residents

The Chilean newspaper El Pueblo has made an update on the struggle of the “Toma 17 de Mayo” residents. On 1st of June the residents have gathered and rebuked Gabriel Boric in a public event. Residents were immediately surrounded by military police as Boric avoided to give explanations. The newspaper El Pueblo denounces that Boric promised to stop evictions, but what he has done is to increase the criminalization of poverty and to rule in favor of latifundium and large capital.
