German-Philippine military agreement against the People’s War and Chinese Social imperialism

We hereby publish an unofficial translation of an article by Dem Volke Dienen:

Since the beginning of last week, German Minister of War Boris Pistorius has been on an Indo-Pacific-trip. In addition to a visit to Hawaii and the associated participation in the largest maritime combat exercise in the world under the leadership of the United States, the deepening of military partnerships in South Korea and the Philippines were also on the agenda.

While in South Korea, German imperialism committed to transfer its troops to the Korean Peninsula as part of the UN operation “United Nations Command” in order to monitor the “truce” between South and North Korea, as it is officially called. Pistorius met representatives of the government of the murderer Marcos Jr. in the Philippines to talk about long-term military cooperation.

This trip is entirely in the service of the militarization of German imperialism, which, in the spirit of its proclaimed “turn of times”, wants to pursue its interests more intensively by military means. On the one hand, this increases the blood guilt of German imperialism in the oppressed nations through its military aggression, and in the case of the Philippines, makes it at least an indirect actor against the People’s War in the country. A rising trend that has already begun with the visit of the murderer Marcos Jr. to Berlin in March this year.

Specifically, military cooperation is supposed to focus on the expansion of armament projects, the training and education of soldiers and military Cybersecurity. Future cooperation in air defense, naval defense and military aircraft transport were also discussed. Details of the agreement have not been disclosed so far.

This agreement is not only aimed at fighting the People’s War in the Philippines, but is also an expression of how German imperialism is handling the confrontation with Chinese social imperialism in the wake of US imperialism.

Beijing, the Philippines’ most important trading partner to date, claims large parts of the so-called “South China Sea” for itself. This also includes parts that are considered international waters by international maritime law. Other parts consider the Philippine government as its own exclusive economic zones. China has been attacking Philippine Navy and Coast Guard boats with non-lethal means for quite some time.

German imperialism exploits these aggression of Chinese social imperialism. On the one hand, in order to establish better conditions with the countryseller government in Manila, so that Germany itself can exploit the Philippines. On the other hand, to promote its “readiness for war”.

CDU/CSU [translators note: the conservatives] Chairwoman Vieregge of the German Defense Committee, who is traveling with Pistorius, put her views clearly in a nutshell: “We are also interested in maintaining the rules-based order, which is being questioned here by the Chinese in particular”. To this end, German imperialism is sending a frigate and a Navy supply ship through the territory claimed by China in the coming weeks.

In this complex situation, the conflict between the various interests of the imperialists from the USA, China and Germany in the struggle for the dominance over the Philippines and subordination of the government of Marcos Jr. the same, what was already emphasized in March this year, is still true and only gains even more validity in the face of the formation of the Anti-Imperialist League, “Such a thing is neither in the interest of the people in Germany nor the Philippines, but diametrically opposed to them. The revolutionaries in this country must resolutely oppose this and fight it, not only with beautiful words, but with concrete deeds, firmly united with the Filipino people and their struggle, everything else would be outright fraud.“
