Wave of mobilizations ahead of the anniversary of October 7

Israel begins a new military operation in northern Gaza Strip. Today new bombardments on Jabalia are reported. There are new updated reports on more than 20 murdered Palestinian only in this area. According to the Israeli army, troops were transferred from Rafah to Jabalia to encircle the area to stop “Hamas” to rebuild their stronghold. Deir el-Balah was attacked for third time this week. There was a new massacre in a mosque that was being used as shelter. 21 people were murdered and the rescue teams have been working for hours.

Al Qassam Brigades reported that they blew up a Merkava Tank in Jabalia refugee camp, using highly explosive devices.

The death toll now is 41,870 murdered Palestinians and 97,166 injured. Additionally thousands more are still under the rubble in Gaza Strip. Only during last 24 hours, there were other 45 murdered and 256 wounded.

In West Bank, another round of raids and detentions was done. The Israeli occupation forces have arrested at least 15 Palestinians during Sunday morning. Among those detained are a journalist and former prisoners. According to the Prisoners Club and the Commission of Prisoners and Freed Prisoners Affairs, the arrests took place in different parts, including Tubas, Tulkarem, Bethlehem and Hebron. In total more than 11,100 civilians have been arrested in West Bank.

In the city of Beersheba, in southern occupied Palestine there has been a military operation by a Palestinian which eliminated an Israeli soldier and caused at least 13 more injured, one of them in critical condition.

More solidarity actions took place ahead of the anniversary of Al-Aqsa Flood.

In Izmir, Turkey, a large march on the first anniversary of Al-Aqsa Flood took place. The march was carried out by Palestine Action Platform, where Partizan participates, and a press statement was done in addition to the march. Slogans as “From the river to the see, Palestine will win”, “Murderous Israel, out of Palestine” or “Long live the Common Struggle of the peoples from Rojava to Gaza”. It was also denounced how the government and its collaborators with the ruling classes claim for “solidarity” with Palestine while continue their trade relations with Israel. Meanwhile, they denounce, this genocidal policy is also applied by them in Rojava and Northern Iraq.

Other solidarity action took place in Ankara, the capital. Also, they commemorated the first anniversary of Al-Aqsa Flood marching through the streets and a press statement was also done. Among the signatures is Partizan. As with the mobilization in Izmir, the end of trade agreements, political relations and investments was demanded.

In Istanbul marches were also done. There was a march in front of the German Consulate, when it was denounced the cooperation with the State with Israel and the repression on Palestinian supporters in Germany.

In Bangladesh, RSYM has put up posters on the event will be held on the anniversary of October 7.

In The Philippines, a big mobilization was carried out in front of the US Embassy in Manila.

In Greece several demonstrations are reported against the massacre of the people of Palestine by the imperialists and the State of Israel.

In Trondheim, Norway a big mobilization took place on Saturday 5th of October against the ongoing genocide in Palestine and the attack on Lebanon. During the demonstration, Kongsberg Gruppen was again denounced as collaborator of Israel through the selling of weapons.

In Basel, Switzerland, Partizan, ITIF and AGEB participated in a joint march with the Solidarity Committee of Palestine. Slogans like “Free Palestine, Long live Palestine” and Anti-imperialist League stickers that reads “Palestine is our country, we will triumph together!”

In Rome, Italy, the State banned a pro-Palestinian mobilization. Even though the rally was made. After that the police repressed it, however the demonstrators decided to stand up against the attacks my the police forces, being unleashed a big battle.

After repression, Per la Democrazia Popolare has reaffirmed its support to the National Palestinian Resistance.
